The right way to remove blackheads at home

Blackheads are small, black bumps inside the pores of your skin that occur when

your hair follicles get clogged. They appear black due to oxidation, which

happens when your pores become clogged with dirt and sebum and then are

exposed to air.

There is something about blackheads that is so stubborn that it often has you pull

your hair out in attempts to get rid of them. It is often beyond the repair of soaps

and face washes, and in some cases, it also needs a serious dermatological

treatment.


1_ Wash and steam your face before you use a home remedy. Facial steam will 

help open your pores so it's easier to remove your blackheads with a home 

remedy. To steam your face, you should:

Gather together a large bowl, water, and a clean towel.

Boil the water. Let it cool and then pour it into the bowl.

Lean over the bowl and cover your head with the towel to trap the steam over 

your face.

Steam your face for 5-10 minutes. Be careful not to get too close to the steam to 

prevent burning your skin.

Rinse your face with warm water and pat it dry.

Repeat the facial steam several times a week, before you apply a facial scrub.

out, just scrub it for a minute and rinse it off with lukewarm water.



3 _To get rid of those nasty blackheads, you can make yourself an effective sugar

 scrub that can be made with just two ingredients - sugar and jojoba oil. This 

scrub helps to cut down the dead skin cell production and prevents blackheads.

How to apply: Take three tablespoons of jojoba oil and mix it with one cup of 

white sugar. Stir it well until you get an evenly thick mixture. You can also use 

olive oil or almond oil instead of jojoba oil. Apply the scrub on to your skin and 

massage it. Rinse off the scrub with lukewarm water. For best results, you can 

scrub at least twice a week.

4 _take one tablespoon honey and mix it with a pinch of cinnamon powder. Now,

 apply the mixture on the affected area. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes before 

wiping it off with a damp towel.


5 _Tea Tree Oil is available in the form of soaps and essential oil. Tea Tree oil is

 well known for its properties to give smooth and clear skin. Apply this directly 

on the area with blackheads and rinse it off.
